Schools can and should do more for athletes. If new governance structure goes thru things like stipends can be passed. How much is enough?

I've covered college sports for > 20 yrs. The vast majority of athletes want a degree and good education. Their schools want same 4 them.

If they become employees, they should be compensated according to value. Starting QB gets lots more $$ than backup safety. Free market.

.@ricktelander fb coaches did accept scholarships when they were college players. Launched them to lucrative career. That's how it works.
