Live updates from the 2016 Bix 7

A team of Quad-City Times reporters and photographers are sending updates from along the Bix 7 route. Join in by tweeting #Bix7 or by using the comment box. Post your record time or play our #bixselfie treasure hunt. The hunt has seven targets to snap a photo with: the starting line, a costumed character (bonus points for Elvis, Marilyn or the Palmer spine), your running shoes, a slip and slide, the finish line, your post-race food or drink, and the Bill and Joan statues at Bix point on the Quad-City Times property. (There will be bonus points for the actual Bill or Joan.)
